A) Material used in the barrel is either PVC, Stainless Steel or HDPE that is UV resistant so keeping down the exposure to the sun will lengthen the life of the barrel / tub.
B) The material used in making the base is primarily aluminum with stainless steel rivets and washers. Points of stress have been afforded extra backing material hidden from view.
C) There may be small tattle tale signs that the barrels have been used, but they have been cleaned of what they once held but expect a scratch or two from their previous life.
D) The air is brought into the mix by 3inch PVC through a series of slots. When turning the barrel, the PVC tubes break up the compost and add oxygen to the mix.
E) You CAN enjoy our composter.
